Since the release of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ trailer on Sunday evening, the biggest surprise to fans has been Suriya’s covert presence in the film. While fans and film buffs were busy dissecting the frames, Lokesh Kanagaraj acknowledged the superstar’s participation in the film, thanking him sincerely and suggesting that the reason for his participation will be revealed after the film’s release.

Suriya was also praised in Kamal’s acceptance speech for offering a helping hand at the last minute. According to sources close to the Suriya camp, the industrious and busy actor agreed to make the special appearance in ‘Vikram‘ without hesitation. He considers Kamal to be his guru and has made a cameo appearance in Kamal’s ‘Manmadhan Anbu’ for a song.  However, Suriya’s role is not revealed. As per the sources, Suriya will play a cop in the film. we have to wait till June 3rd to get clarity regarding Suriya’s role in the film.

Suriya shot for ‘Vikram’ for two days and will feature in the film for about ten minutes. His character will not only surprise fans but will also be an unexpected twist in the storyline. With Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, and Suriya sharing screen time, the film is expected to become one of Tamil cinema’s biggest multistarrers.
