Watch the Launch video of Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thalapathy 66. Thursday makers have released the launch video of Vijay’s 66th film.
Vijay’s 66th film, which begins shooting this weekend, kicked off with a puja ceremony in Chennai on Wednesday morning. This new movie, which is tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, will simultaneously be made in Telugu and Tamil. ‘Maharshi’ fame Vamshi Paidipally is directing the film.
Rashmika Mandanna and actor-politician R Sarath Kumar also attended the ceremony with Vijay. Dil Raju, the film’s producer, sounded the clapboard.
Thaman and Rashmika collaborated for the first time on Thalapathy 66 with Vijay.

The movie’s cinematography and editing are handled by Karthick Palani and KL Praveen, respectively. Under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Dil Raju, Shirish, Sri Harshith Reddy, and Sri Hanshitha are producing the movie.
Vijay’s Beast will hit the screens on April 13, and Rashmika is yet to start filming for Pushpa 2: The Rule starring icon star Allu Arjun in the lead role.
