Vijay Devarakonda and Puri Jagannadh announces JGM movie in a style
Tollywood’s top actor Vijay Devarakonda and acclaimed filmmaker Puri Jagannadh have teamed up for another blockbuster titled JGM.
As promised yesterday, The markers announced a new film JGM (Janaganamana) starring Vijay Devarakonda as Hero. Liger director Puri Jagannath is the director. This time Vijay Devarakonda plays an army officer. As per the Puri connects source, The film JGM will release on Aug 23rd, 2023.
The Liger film, starring Tollywood’s promising actor Vijay Devarakonda and renowned filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, is expected to thrill moviegoers. Vijay will appear in this film as an MME boxer, as it is a sports drama. Following this highly anticipated film, this star-studded duo is teaming together for another blockbuster JGM.
Janaganamana is a dream project of Puri Jagannadh. He told the story to many Tollywood top actors including Mahesh Babu. But The film did not take place due to various reasons. Now this time Vijay Devarakonada stepped in, We have to wait and see how this film will enthrall the audience.

The film Liger stars Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Pandey as the lead roles. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali Basha, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu, and Abdul Qadir Amin are among the stars who have been cast in key parts. Another exciting surprise for the audience is that famed boxer Mike Tyson will appear in this film in a cameo role.
Puri Jagannadh is directing the film, which is co-produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Jagannadh under the brand Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.
This film will be released in Telugu and Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada! For this film, Vijay Devarakonda underwent a physical makeover and journeyed to Thailand to receive martial arts instruction in order to better suit the bill as an MME fighter in this sports drama! Mani Sharma will compose the music for this film, while Tanishk Bagchi has also signed on as a composer! Liger will be released the following year, on August 25th, 2022.
