Today, 9th June, Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Tamil filmmaker Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in a traditional manner at a five-star hotel in Mahabalipuram, Tamilnadu. A giant glasshouse mandap was erected for the marriage, and tight security was in place. Only family members and close friends attended their wedding, which was a private affair. Rajinikanth attended the wedding with Shah Rukh Khan, who works with Nayanthara in Atlee’s Jawan.
Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara were dressed up in Jade by Monica at the wedding, sources say. The wedding ceremony began at 8:30 a.m. and went on for a couple of hours. The newlyweds will share pictures this afternoon.
While the newlyweds Nayan and Vignesh are being blessed by celebrities, Bollywood KIng Shah Rukh Khan arrived in Mahabalipuram and wore a white formal outfit. Kollywood stars such as Radhika Sarathkumar, Divya Dharashini, and Vasanth Ravi have arrived at the wedding venue to wish them. Rajinikanth also visited to wish them.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan will host a grand reception in Chennai on June 10th and many biggies from Indian film will attend.
