Varun Tej’s next film VT13 is based on True Events
Varun Tej’s upcoming Hindi-Telugu bilingual film will feature him as an IAF officer. The Shakti Pratap Singh Hada-directed movie is scheduled to begin production in November of this year.
The upcoming Telugu-Hindi bilingual action-drama starring Mega Prince Varun Tej will be based on the Indian Air Force. The movie, tentatively titled “VT13,” is Varun’s first in Hindi.
The movie, which is being made by Sony Pictures International Productions and Renaissance Pictures, will be directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada.
The movie, which is based on actual events, is marketed as “a patriotic, edge-of-the-seat entertainer” that would highlight the tenacity of the front-line soldiers and the difficulties they encounter as they repel one of the largest and fiercest aerial strikes India has ever experienced.
Speaking about the movie, Varun expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to portray an Indian Air Force commander and honor their valor on the big screen. We work to create a movie that, in our opinion, will be the ideal homage to the Indian Air Force in collaboration with Sandeep Mudda, filmmaker Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, and worldwide powerhouse Sony Pictures International Productions. The story of this movie presents me with a challenge to depart from my prior roles. My character as an (IAF) officer has depth, which will be intriguing for me to display in this movie. I’ll be receiving a tonne of training, and I can’t wait to see how audiences respond to this one,” he continued.
The film, which will be simultaneously produced in Telugu and Hindi, is scheduled to start production by the end of this year and will be released worldwide in 2023.
In addition to this, Praveen Sattaru and Varun Tej collaborated on his upcoming movie, VT12. The film will be financed by Bapineedu and BVSN Prasad through their company SVCC, with Nagababu presenting.
