Valimai movie box office collection: The film opens impressively for Ajith
The most awaited film of Kollywood star Ajith, ‘Valimai’, is now in theaters and is directed by H Vinoth. The movie was produced by Boney Kapoor. The film is running in theaters, ‘Valimai’ has seen record collections on the first day of its release.
The movie also stars Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi and Telugu actor Kartikeya Gummakonda. The makers planned originally to release the film for Pongal, but it was delayed by pandemic restrictions.
According to reports, the movie was reportedly screened in over 650 theaters in Tamil Nadu in multiple showtimes and multiple screens.
According to a national media report, On its first day, the film brought in Rs. 30.15 crore (gross) in Tamil Nadu, which is a record for a non-holiday release. The film has collected Rs. 1.84 crore (gross) in Chennai, a record for an Ajith Kumar film. On day 1, Valimai collected Rs. 36.68 crore (gross) in India and the overall worldwide collection of the film is Rs. 53.36 crores (gross).
