Tollywood Producer arrested For Abetment to TV actress suicide

 

Hyderabad Police on Wednesday arrested Telugu cinema Producer Ashok Reddy in the suicide case of TV actress Sravani Kondapalli, who ended her life by hanging herself on September 8. 

Ashok Reddy, who was absconding since Monday was finally arrested by Police. SR Nagar police served notice on the producer, asking to appear in the Police station. However, he went absconding and his mobile phone was also switched off. 

In Sravani’s suicide case, Police have already arrested First accused Sai Krishna Reddy, Second accused Devraj Reddy. They were sent to judicial custody on the charges of abetment to suicide. The Police officer said that at a point of time, all three accused had promised to marry her and were also harassing her citing her relationship with others.

The 26-year-old actor, who is known for her roles in ‘Manasu Mamatha’ and ‘Mounaragam’ serials, hanged herself at her residence in Madhura Nagar, Hyderabad on September 8th.
