The Marvels Trailer is out, Full Movie in November 2023
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is back with its third movie of Phase Five, and it’s called “The Marvels.” The movie takes place right after the post-credits scene in the season one finale of the Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel.” The scene showed Kamala (Vellani) swapping places with Carol Danvers (Larson). The trailer for “The Marvels” has confirmed that whenever one of the Marvels uses her abilities, someone switches places. This is a unique twist on the superhero genre, and it’s sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
“The Marvels,” is set to bring back some familiar faces and introduce new heroes to the franchise. Among them are Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. Both Larson and Vellani are reprising their respective roles for the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters in November 2022. Along with them is Teyonah Parris, who plays Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Carol’s BFF Maria. Monica grew up to become a SWORD agent and has the ability to absorb and manipulate energy as Spectrum, thanks to the events of the hit Disney+ show “WandaVision.”
Kamala Khan, also known as Ms. Marvel, is a Pakistani-American teenager who gains shape-shifting abilities. She’s a relatively new addition to the Marvel universe, but she’s quickly become a fan favorite. In the post-credits scene of “Ms. Marvel,” Kamala swaps places with Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel.
Captain Marvel is one of the most powerful superheroes in the MCU. She’s also one of the few characters who can fly in space, making her a valuable asset to the Avengers. In “The Marvels,” we’ll see Captain Marvel team up with Kamala Khan as they fight against a new threat.
But the swapping of places doesn’t stop there. In the trailer, we see Kamala switch places with S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau, Danvers’ estranged “niece,” while she’s working with Nick Fury in space. This sets up an interesting dynamic between the three Marvels, and it will be exciting to see how they work together to save the world.
The teaser trailer was first revealed at the D23 Expo 2022, and fans were left eagerly awaiting more details. Initially scheduled for a July 28, 2023 release, Marvel Studios has since shifted the theatrical release of “The Marvels” to November. The Marvels Full Movie will arrive on Disney+ later in the year, although an exact date has not yet been announced. It’s likely that the movie will receive a streaming release in late December, approximately 45 days after its theatrical release.
“The Marvels” is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated movies of Phase Five. So mark your calendars and get ready to witness the power of the Marvels!
