The Gang is spreading rumours about me: AR Rahman
The Oscar winning music director AR Rahman said that there is a gang in Bollywood, which is stopping him from getting movies. His last outing Dil Bechara, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi is Premiering on Disney Plus hotstar from July 24th.
In an interview with radio mirchi he was asked by he was doing fewer films in Hindi industry compared to Tamil movies. He said, “I said no to good movies, but there is a gang, which, due to misunderstandings, spreading some false rumours.”
He further added, ” when Mukesh Chabra came to me, I gave him four songs in two days. He told me that some in industry are making false rumours on me. Now , I realised why I am doing less films in Hindi and why the good films are not coming to me. There is a whole gang working against me.
AR Rahman further said, “it is fine. Because I believe in God, I believe in destiny. Everything comes from God. So I am taking my movies and working on other stuff too. You are all welcome to come to me to make beautiful movies.”
AR Rahman is known for composing music for superhit films like Dil se, Guru, Swades, Rockstar and winning to academic awards for the movie Slumdog Millionaire. He worked for other languages too.
