Shahrukh Khan and Kajol starrer romantic film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ turns 25 today. It is one of the evergreen films of Indian cinema. The film cast also includes Amrish Puri, Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal among others. Directed by Aditya Chopra, the film was released on October 20, 1995.
To mark the occasion of DDLJ 25th anniversary, Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan and Diva Kajol have updated their names to their characters in the movie. Shahrukh changed his name to Raj Malhotra, while Kajol to Simran. They have also changed their profile pictures on social media platforms.
Shahrukh Khan also shared a beautiful video to celebrate the 25th of DDLJ. Along with the video, SRK wrote, “25 years!!! Filled with gratitude towards you for loving Raj & Simran, with all your heart. This always feels special. #DDLJ25 @yrf.”

According to the Indian Express, a bronze statue of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol will be unveiled in London’s Leicester Square. The statue will depict a part of the scene that was shot in Leicester Square.
