Shahid Kapoor has slashed his remuneration by Rs 8 crores for Jersey
As per the sources, Shahid Kapoor takes a pay cut for his upcoming movie ‘Jersey’ and slashed his remuneration to Rs 25 crores.

According to the latest sources, Shahid had previously signed Jersey by agreeing for 33 crores and a percentage in the profit share. The makers had agreed to the demand and the film shoot was on. In the last few months, the whole perspective of filmmaking and its budget has changed.
Shahid Kapoor comes down to help the producer by slashing his remuneration by Rs 8 crores. Now he is taking 25 crores for the movie. It is a huge relief to the filmmakers.
Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer Jersey is a Telugu remake of the film with the same name. Gowtam Tinnanuri who helmed the original is the director for Hindi Remake.
