Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt to work again for ‘Darlings’
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies is going to Produce the film titled ‘Darlings’. As per the latest reports, Alia Bhatt is the main lead in the film. The makers plan to release the movie later this year. The film is directed by Jasmeet K. Reen. An official announcement on the project will be made soon.
‘Darlings’ is about a mother-daughter duo. While RRR actress Alia plays the daughter, actress Shefali Shah is cast as mother. Rest of the cast will be announced soon.
As per the source close to the Production, house revealed that” the movie is set in Mumbai against the backdrop of a middle-class family and traces the lives of two women. The pre-production work is going in full swing. The film will go on floor very soon in Mumbai.”
Shah Rukh Khan and Alia have the first time worked for the 2016 film Dear Zindagi, though as co-stars.
