Sarkaru Vaari Paata (SVP), the latest movie by Mahesh Babu, has done well at the pre-release business box office. It has actually done a better job than Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak and Rana Dagubati’s Bheemla.
Breakdown of pre-release business:
The makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata earned Rs 36 crore from the sale of Nizam theatrical rights, while they earned Rs 13.5 crore and Rs 13 crore from the sale of Ceded and Vizag distribution rights, respectively.
Producer’s theatrical rights in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana brought in Rs 98.5 crore. The Karnataka distribution rights have earned them Rs 8.5 crore, while the rest of India’s distribution rights have earned them Rs 14 crore.
SVP vs Bheemla Nayak, RRR, Pushpa
Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s worldwide theatrical rights have been sold for Rs 125 crore. Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak, on the other hand, earned its producer Rs 108 crore from the theatrical rights.
With a pre-release collection of Rs 512 crore, SS Rajamouli’s RRR had made a record among Telugu movies in recent years.
Radhe Shyam’s theatrical rights in Andhra and Telangana brought in Rs 107 crore for the makers, just 8.5 crores more than Mahesh Babu’s latest film.
Worldwide rights to Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Pushpa were sold for Rs 150 crore, while Andhra and Telangana rights brought the makers Rs 102.5 crore. Last but not least, Chiranjeevi’s recently released Acharya earned Rs 140 crore from the sale of worldwide theatrical rights, including Rs 113.5 crore from Andhra and Telangana.
