In the latest update, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against five people, including Sameer Wankhede, for corruption in the Aryan Khan drugs case. It has been reported that the officer sought a bribe of 25 crores in exchange for dropping the charges against Aryan Khan.

As per TOI Mumbai Tweet, it reads:CBI has registered a corruption case against IRS officer #SameerWankhede along with others and is searching their premises in #Mumbai. Wankhede was earlier NCB (Mumbai zone) chief. He had stirred a controversy over the arrest of actor #ShahRukhKhan’s son #AryanKhhan.”
