The much-awaited film Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire is all set to hit the screens soon, and the film’s advance booking numbers are already making waves. The movie, helmed by KGF franchise director Prashanth Neel, has garnered a lot of attention and excitement among moviegoers ever since its teaser and trailer were released. And now, its advance booking numbers are adding to the buzz.

As of Sunday morning, Salaar had sold more than 100,000 tickets all over India, worth around Rs 2.14 crore. The film has already surpassed the $1 million mark in its North American premiere advance sales, five days ahead of its premiere. The film’s 2D versions in Telugu and Malayalam sold 56,209 and 28,295 tickets, respectively, making them the top contributors to Salaar’s advance booking numbers. Its Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada 2D versions sold 9,803, 1,828, and 1,841 tickets respectively.

Salaar’s advance booking numbers were strong across various states in India, including Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, and Delhi. The film’s stunning response in advance bookings is a testament to the actor’s popularity and the director’s prowess in creating a captivating cinematic experience.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, saw a lukewarm response in its advance bookings compared to Salaar. The film sold a total of 69,834 tickets worth around Rs 2.31 crore for its Hindi 2D shows as of Sunday morning. Dunki’s advance booking numbers were majorly contributed by West Bengal, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam, and Telangana.

While Dunki’s advance booking numbers may not be as impressive as Salaar’s, it is still a highly anticipated film among moviegoers. It will be interesting to see how both films perform at the box office upon their release.

In the meantime, ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli added to Salaar’s excitement when he bought the first-ever ticket for Prabhas’ upcoming film from the team. Production house Mythri Movie Makers confirmed the development in a post on Twitter. This gesture by Rajamouli is a testament to the camaraderie and support in the film industry.

The advance booking numbers for Salaar paint a promising picture for the film’s success at the box office. With Prabhas’ star power and Prashanth Neel’s directorial skills, Salaar is poised to be a must-watch film for all movie lovers.
