RRR, Jersey, Acharya, and Panchayat Season 2 are top OTT releases this weekend. The numerous web series and films are also reaching OTT platforms this weekend. This week, we’re bringing you several of the most anticipated films of the season to stream across the different streaming platforms.
There’s an SS Rajamouli extravaganza RRR, the biggest blockbuster from India in recent times. It premieres on Zee5. (The Hindi version will stream on Netflix). The Telugu father-son Megastar duo Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s Acharya is available via Amazon Prime Video. There’s Shahid Kapoor’s emotional cricketing tale Jersey on Netflix.

12th man
Mohanlal cleverly mingles his work between theatres and streaming platforms. Marakkar: Arabicikadalinte Simham and Aaraattu premiered in theatres first, and his amusing Bro Daddy premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. The sequel to his 12th Man is also set for release directly on the same platform.
The plot is believed to be an adaptation of the well-known film An Inspector Calls, which was initially made as a theater film, and then made into a British television movie. It centers on the mysterious Inspector, who is investigating the socially affluent family and dinner guests in the wake of the suicide of a young lady. Everyone in the family seems to have a secret, and the tale follows the events of one night. The characters seem to have altered the plot to include several acquaintances. Bhala tandanana
Sree Vishnu is a young Telugu hero who has made impressive progress in the last few years. The movie, being a film that was released theatrically and could not have generated much excitement, is an enjoyable experience to watch on OTT. Sree Vishnu has not done any harm by releasing this film to his burgeoning career.
The main story is about a boy living in an orphanage, who is in a relationship with an investigative reporter. She is investigating an investigation of public interest and during the course of her work, she explores the motive behind a string of murders. She uncovers the person for these horrific murders. As it turns out it also reveals the other aspect of the man she loves. However, he is able to be who is. What’s that? The final part of the story is about the mysterious character that the protagonist is. The film is full of twists and turns and sprinkled with humor.

Director SS Rajamouli’s directorial RRR, with NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody as well as Ray Stevenson in the pivotal roles is expected to be released on OTT on the 20th of May. Honeymoon
For those who speak South Indian languages, it is most likely in Kannada we’ve not seen any major web series. Maybe, this six-episode series might change the game. It focuses on an unusual Indian wedding. It explores the story that is both literal and metaphorical of a couple one shy man and a loud, dominant woman during their wedding. The show makes a compelling case for the importance of privacy in marriages that are planned. Even though it tackles a serious issue, the show is filled with humor and fun aspects.
The show has Shivarajkumar who is the creator. The daughter of Shivarajkumar Niveditha has also contributed her influence to the production. It is due to his daughter of his that Shivarajkumar has gotten involved in the series.
Panchayat 2
When a TV show has a second season in it You can in a way assume that its first year has been a success. Panchayat during the initial season was popular due to its witty humor. The show revolved around Abhishek who is an engineer who becomes secretary for a panchayat office located in the village of Phulera. The first season featured plenty of fun and laughter-filled moments.
The second season includes him and his hilarious activities in the same space. He is however in tune with the rhythms and routines of Phulera. New episodes of Phulera are anticipated to go deeper into the relationship between local characters and Abhishek. While the characters deal with the difficulties of life in the village, they’re confronted with new and challenging obstacles in their lives. While Abhishek settles down in the village, they witness the rise of a rival against Pradhan Ji, and the village political tussle in Phulera gets heated. this one of the best out of ott releases this weekend
Acharya
The film is directed by Koratala Siva The Telugu project features Chiranjeevi’s megastar and Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde as the main characters. The story is about social injustice and a number of people who take the initiative to fight the injustice.
Jersey
Led by Gowtam Tinnanuri, “Jersey” is a story about Arjun (played by Shahid) who is a failed cricketer who decides to pursue his dream of playing for Team India for the happiness of his son.
