Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik gets Bail in Drugs Case

Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty was granted bail by a special court in Mumbai. He came out of jail nearly after three months.

The narcotics control bureau (NCB) arrested Chakraborty in a drug case in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The NCB team had raided the home on September 4 and he was arrested. He was charged under multiple sections of the anti-narcotics law.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda and several others were also arrested in September by the NCB under anti-narcotics law.

Actor Rhea Chakraborty was arrested in the case but was granted bail and released in October, whereas Showik’s bail got denied.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence in June. Mumbai police launched the probe. After a lot of protests on social media and outrage all over, CBI was handed the case.
