Ravanasura movie struggles at the box office

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s latest film ‘Ravanasura’ has been the talk of the town since its release. The film has been eagerly awaited by fans of the popular Telugu actor. However, the film’s opening weekend at the box office has left many disappointed.

 ‘Ravanasura’ seems to be struggling at the box office. On its opening day in India, the movie only collected Rs 6 crore, which was quite ok. During the weekend, the action-packed drama witnessed a 50 percent decline and managed to earn just Rs 7-8 crore on both Saturday (April 8) and Sunday (April 9) combined.

Ravanasura’s domestic box office earnings started off well, raking in a whopping Rs 6 crore (nett) on Day 1. Fans of the film were ecstatic, and the numbers seemed to suggest that the movie was on track to become a massive success. However, as the weekend approached, the excitement surrounding the film began to wane. The movie’s performance during the weekend was lackluster, with a significant 50% decline in collections. The estimated earnings for Saturday and Sunday combined were approximately Rs 3.75 crore. The movie’s earnings in India now amount to Rs 13.50 crore. While this is certainly a respectable number, it’s not quite what many predicted it would be after such a good opening.
