Twitter users’ reviews of Raksha Bandhan describe Akshay Kumar’s movie as  “the best movie of 2022.”
 After two back-to-back disappointments this year, Akshay Kumar appears to have finally succeeded in connecting with the public.

Along with Aamir Khan’s much-anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha, the Akshay Kumar-starring family-friendly comedy Raksha Bandhan, which was directed by Aanand L. Rai, debuts in theatres today. Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth, and Deepika Khanna play major parts in the sibling relationship drama Raksha Bandhan.
