Prabhas to play Lord Shiva in Vishnu’s film
There’s a buzz in the TFI about the potential collaboration between two Indian actors, Prabhas and Vishnu Manchu, for an upcoming film titled Kannappa. While an official confirmation hasn’t been released yet, recent social media activity by Vishnu Manchu has sparked excitement and speculation among fans.
Prabhas, known for his roles in blockbusters like “Baahubali” and “Saaho,” has a busy schedule with several high-profile projects in the pipeline. He is set to star in Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, expected to hit theaters in 2023, and Nag Ashwin’s science-fiction ensemble film “Kalki 2898 AD,” slated for a 2024 release. After his recent success in “Adipurush” in 2023, Prabhas continues to be a sought-after actor in the Indian film industry.
On the other hand, Vishnu Manchu, a respected figure in the industry, is reportedly working on his dream project, Kannappa. This film has generated significant interest due to the potential collaboration with Prabhas. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared information about Prabhas’ involvement in Kannappa, which sparked the rumors. Vishnu Manchu’s response on social media, where he wrote “Har Har Mahadev” along with some hearts, has further fueled speculation and excitement among fans.
While fans eagerly await official confirmation about Prabhas’ role in Kannappa, the prospect of these two talented actors coming together for a film has created quite a buzz in Telugu Cinema.
Actress Nupur Sanon is also expected to join the cast of Kannappa. The film is gearing up to commence filming in the near future.
This ambitious project is being supported by Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, promising a grand cinematic experience. The music for Kannappa will be composed by the talented duo of Mani Sharma and Stephen Devasi, marking a significant musical collaboration.
Behind the camera, the film will be helmed by director Mukesh Singh, with a screenplay penned by a team of accomplished writers including Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Thota Prasad, and Burra Sai Madhav.
