Pathaan Crosses 630 crores gross worldwide, it is unstoppable
Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited comeback film, has had a decent run at the box office. After a massive first week, the Hindi version of the Siddharth Anand directorial is set to cross the ₹350 crore mark in India, as the film collected around ₹17-17.50 crore nett on its second Wednesday.
The total collection of the film now stands at around ₹348.50 crore nett and is expected to breach the ₹350 crore mark soon. With not many films releasing in the next two weeks, Pathaan is expected to continue its good run.
The film has also done remarkably well overseas. In its first week, it collected a gross collection of ₹395 crores in India and nett collection of ₹330.25 crores. The first week’s gross overseas collection stood at ₹239 crores, taking the total worldwide gross to ₹634 crores.
The success of Pathaan has once again proved that Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most bankable actors in Bollywood. Despite being away from the silver screen for almost four years, the superstar has come back with a bang.
It remains to be seen how Pathaan will perform in its second week and whether it will be able to cross the ₹400 crore mark globally. However, one thing is for sure the film has given a much-needed boost to Shah Rukh Khan’s career.
