The makers are promoting Love Story in a full swing. In a recent interview media, Shekhar Kamla talked about his film Love Story-making journey.
He says it’s a romantic musical that revolves around two youngsters Revant and Monica, who are looking to make it big in Hyderabad. Many think that it is just the story of a boy and girl falling in love pursuing their dreams and overcome their insecurities. But this film is much more than that. Yes, there is Romance, nostalgia, and yearning. but there is also a boy from an oppressed section of society looking to be a Zumba instructor and a girl struggling to cope with childhood trauma as she looks to find a well-paying job.
He added Chaitanya playing a character like Revanth is in itself a major victory, Pallavi’s character Monica is also a complex one and their bonding is truly magical. They did justice to their roles with a smile on their faces.”
Talking about his filmmaking he said,” even if my films have nothing good to offer, they shouldn’t portray anything bad. I have always tried to do that with my films and I hope I have now made space for stories that are not often told.”
Apart from Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, the Love Story movie cast includes Devayani, Eswari Rao, Rajiv Kanakala, Rao Ramesh, Satyam Rajesh, Uttej, and Thagubothu Ramesh.
Pawan Ch composed beautiful tracks for The Love Story. He is an alumnus of A R Rahman’s KM music conservatory. Vijay C Kumar and Marathand K Venkatesh who regularly worked in Kammula’s movies handled the cinematography and editing respectively.
