Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam is no more
Legendary playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam whose magical vice gave life to thousands of songs that mesmerized millions of music lovers across the country passed away on Friday. He had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai after testing positive for coronavirus during the first week of August. He lost 52 day-long battle against the COVID-19.
He breathed his last at 1.04 pm, his son SP Charan announced that his father is no more.
On August 5th, SPB announced in a video recording which he posted on his Facebook page that he had gotten admitted in hospital due to coronavirus. He also said, ” I am in good health. Nobody has to worry about me. So please don’t bother to call me to find out how I am”.
Unfortunately, The acclaimed singer’s health deteriorated in the last 24 hours, and passed away today.
Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam is survived by his wife Savitri, son SP Charan and daughter Pallavi.
