Karthikeya 2, a recently released mystery-thriller film starring Nikhil Siddharth, has outperformed the action film KGF 2 with Kannada actor Yash in terms of box office revenue.
KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi), the crowning achievement of Prashanth Neel, made 382.91 percent more money than the Rs 90 Cr it cost to acquire the theatrical rights. The movie earned Rs 23.53 cr profit in the Hindi belt.. Given that the theatre rights for the Nikhil Siddharth-starring film cost Rs. 4.50 crore, even though the amount is not large, the film has produced outstanding returns (Hindi version). After deducting the cost from the total revenue, Karthikeya 2 makes a profit of 422.88 percent, or Rs 19.03 cr. so the film is doing great in the North Indian market.
