The most recent season of filmmaker Karan Johar’s talk program Koffee With Karan on the OTT streaming service Disney+ Hotstar just ended. It’s interesting that the director-producer said he would return the following year with still another season before signing off. The most recent big-budget picture from Dharma Productions, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is Brahmastra. Karan has also been quite busy on the film front. However, Karan Johar startled his followers by announcing his resignation from the social media platform Twitter while away from the business of movies.

 

Making space for more positive energies only, and this is the first step in that direction, was the message Karan Johar tweeted earlier today. Hello, Twitter! The director removed his profile from the website after sharing this. Even if the website still lists the handle, a message stating that “This account doesn’t exist” is displayed instead.

The next steps are still unknown, but Karan Johar, who has been called the “flag bearer of nepotism,” has endured a great deal of ridicule throughout the years. In fact, the director discussed his mental health and how getting counseling benefited him toward the end of Koffee With Karan. While we shall miss Karan’s updates on Twitter, we wish the director luck on his quest to build up good vibes.
