Kalki 2898 AD starts with Mahabharat period!
Famous director Nag Ashwin is making an exciting movie called “Kalki 2898 AD.” The story begins in the time of the Mahabharat and goes all the way to the year 2898 AD, covering 6000 years.
Ashwin explained, “Our film starts in the Mahabharat period, and it ends in 2898. That’s the title of the film. It is called Kalki 2898 Ad. It spans that 6000-year sort of distance in time.” This means the movie will show how things were in ancient times and how they might be in the future.
He also said, “We are trying to create worlds that are there here, imagining what it could be like. We will still keep it Indian, and our challenge is not to make it look like Blade Runner (a Hollywood sci-fi film).” This means they want the movie to look Indian and not like other futuristic movies from Hollywood.
One interesting thing about the movie is its connection to Indian stories. Ashwin mentioned, “If we go back 6000 years back in time from 2898 AD, we will arrive at 3102 BC, which is when they say the last avatar of Krishna passed.” This shows how the movie connects ancient Indian stories with its futuristic tale.
The movie has a great cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. “Kalki 2898 AD” is set to release on 9th May 2024, and fans are very excited about it.
In short, “Kalki 2898 AD” is a movie that mixes ancient stories with futuristic ideas, creating a story that spans thousands of years. Nag Ashwin’s direction and the talented cast promise to make it a movie worth watching.
