‘Jailer’ is the name of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film. The first poster of Nelson Dilipkumar’s directorial Jailer is Nelson Dilipkumar’s 2nd directorial with Sun Pictures after Vijay’s Beast. This is also his first working with Rajinikanth.
The 169th film from Superstar Rajinikanth is titled Jailer. Sun Pictures, which is financially guiding this highly-anticipated film has announced the name on social media, along with the concept poster.
It was written “#Thalaivar169 is #Jailer.” The concept poster for Jailer depicts a blood-stained meat chain hanging from a cleaver in an old factory. The atmosphere of the frame is rustic and shabby, it promises to be the thrill of a high-voltage actioner.
Jailer is Nelson Dilipkumar’s 2nd directorial with Sun Pictures after Vijay’s Beast. This is also his first working with Rajinikanth.

The soundtrack for the film is by Anirudh Rajchander. Kalanithi Maran presents it. The rest of the actors and crew members for the film are expected to be announced in the near future.
After the release and negative box office results of the Beast film, thoughts about the possibility of the film’s release Thalaivar169 have been in the air. The makers have put an end to the speculation announcement of the title of the film with style.
Beast got mixed feedback following it came out on April 13. After the theatrical release and its subsequent OTT release the director was criticized on the internet. The viral memes that target Nelson have been made around on the internet. Vijay’s father has also criticized the director’s handling of this film.
Vikram Director Lokesh Kanagaraj had also come out to support Nelson. He said in an interview in a conversation with a magazine, that success and failure are a part of the process of making films in the field and condemns the negative trolls that were directed at Nelson as a Beast.
