Gauri Khan, wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, under scrutiny for endorsing fraudulent brand: ED issues notice
Gauri Khan, the wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has recently been served with a notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for allegedly endorsing a brand that embezzled Rs 30 crore. Gauri, a film producer and interior designer, is also the brand ambassador of Lucknow-based real estate company Tulsiani Group. The company is accused of duping Rs 30 crore from investors and banks, and it seems that the ED is taking action to investigate Gauri Khan’s financial dealings.
According to reports, the officials will investigate various aspects of the case, including how much money Gauri received to become the brand ambassador of the Tulsiani group. They will scrutinize the contracts made for the company’s brand ambassador position and other related documents. Gauri might also get a summons by the ED in the case. She is yet to respond to the notice.
This development has shocked many as Gauri Khan is a well-respected personality in the entertainment industry. She has been a prominent name in interior design for over a decade and has worked on several high-profile projects. In addition to this, Gauri is also a film producer and has produced some award-winning movies.
However, this is not the first time that the Tulsiani Group has been accused of malpractice. In a project in Lucknow called Sushant Golf City, a Mumbai-based person, Kirit Jaswant Shah, purchased a flat for Rs 85 lakh in 2015. However, Shah did not get possession of the flat, and his money was also not refunded. Shah filed a complaint against the directors of Tulsiani Group, namely Anil Kumar Tulsiani, Mahesh Tulsiani, and brand ambassador Gauri Khan.

In March 2023, Shah filed an FIR against the three of them. In the complaint, Shah alleged, “I visited the company’s office in Sushant Golf City the same year, met its directors, and agreed to buy a flat worth Rs 86 lakh. I was assured that I would get the flat’s possession in 2016. But since then, a lot of time has elapsed, and I have not got the flat. Later, I found out that the agreement for the flat I booked had been transferred by the company to somebody else.”
The case of Gauri Khan and the Tulsiani Group is still under investigation, and we will have to wait and see what the outcome of the investigation is.
