Fans Disrupt Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ Event in Lucknow
A promotional event for the upcoming film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” featuring Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, took a violent turn in Lucknow on 26 February. Fans at the event began hurling slippers and stones at each other, leading to chaos and police intervention.
The event, held near the Clock Tower in Lucknow, was intended to showcase stunts performed by the actors to promote the action-packed thriller directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. However, the situation quickly escalated as the crowd grew uncontrollable, resulting in clashes among fans.
According to a report by India Today, the police had to resort to a lathi charge to disperse the crowd and restore order. Several videos of the incident surfaced online, depicting the chaos that unfolded during the promotional event.
“Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, Sonakshi Sinha, and Alaya F. The film, produced by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films, is scheduled for release around Eid in April 2024.
The disruption at the promotional event highlights the challenges faced by the film’s team in promoting their upcoming release amid fan frenzy and escalating tensions.
