Dhanush and Shekhar Kammula to do trilingual film

Tamil star actor Dhanush Teaming up with director Sekhar Kammula for a trilingual film that will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. The movie has been announced on the occasion of the late Sunita Narang’s birthday. The film is bankrolled by Narayana Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao of Sri Venkateswara cinemas LLP.

Actor Dhanush took to Twitter and wrote, “Really excited to be working with one of the directors I admire @sekharkammulasir and also elated to join hands with NarayanDasNarang sir and PuskurRamMohanRao sir under @SVCLLP banner for this trilingual. Looking forward to this.”

This will be Dhanush’s first Telugu straight film and fans are excited. It is known that his films have often been dubbed in Telugu and he got a good following in the Telugu States, especially with Raghuvaran BTech film. Sekhar Kammula is the master of love stories and is known for making out of box films that are fun to watch. It remains to be seen if he penned something intense or smooth plot for ‘Asuran’ actor.

The cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced soon. The shooting likely to kickstarts this year once the situation comes to normal.

On the other side, Director Sekhar Kamla has wrapped up the shooting of Love Story which stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead role. The film was supposed to release in April but it was postponed due to the pandemic.

Dhanush was last seen in Karan movie which is available on amazon prime. He will soon be seen in Jagame Thantiram and Atrangi Re.
