Custody collects 4 crores on its First Day!
Naga Chaitanya is back with a bang! His new film, Custody, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has hit the big screen and is already creating waves in the industry. In the movie, Chay Akkineni plays the role of police constable Shiva, and the story revolves around a 48-hour episode in his life, set in the 1990s. Along with Naga Chaitanya, the film also stars Arvind Swami and Krithi Shetty.
The much-awaited film opened in theaters on May 12 and has taken a decent opening at the box office. According to early estimates and Sacnilk, Custody collected a whopping Rs 4 crore, across all languages, on its first day. It goes without saying that the Naga Chaitanya-starrer had a good start at the ticket sales.
The talented actor has delivered yet another powerful performance and has managed to keep the audience engaged throughout the film. The movie’s direction, along with the engaging storyline, has received a thumbs-up from the audience.
