Chiranjeevi’s Acharya to clash with Mahesh Babu’ SVP!
Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s upcoming film Acharya was scheduled to release on February 4th, 2022. Today(Sunday), the makers have confirmed that the release has been postponed due to COVID omicron concern. They have also announced that the film Acharya will release on April 1st,2022 on the occasion of the Ugadi festival.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the action entertainer is jointly bankrolled by Matinee Entertainments and Konidenal productions, The film also stars Kajal Agarwal and Pooja Hegde.

But here is another issue. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata will also release on April 1st. The team has already announced a few weeks back. It is interesting to see whether megastar Chiranjeevi Aacharya and superstar Sarkaru Vaari Paata (SVP) clash at the box office or not. there is a rare occurrence when Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi film releases on the same day. There is also buzz the makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata are considering the film’s release in the month of May 2022.
It is known that many Pan India films such as RRR, Radheshyam have been postponed due to a spike in corona cases. This hugely impacts the cinema industry. If everything goes well by the end of March, the big films will release continuously with a small gap.
