Here’s an interesting fact about the film. According to the report of Koimoi, Reliance Entertainment, which bankrolled the sports drama paid approximately Rs 15 Cr to the winning cricket team. The former Captain Kapil Dev received Rs. 5 Cr for his story.
According to the sources, the film was made on a whopping amount of nearly Rs. 125 crores.
Starring Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev, the sports drama also stars Deepika Padukone as his wife Romi Bhatia, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu among others.
