Brahmastra Record breaking advance bookings surpasses RRR in Hindi belts!
Record-breaking advance since the War; surpasses RRR in Hindi belts; probable Rs. 20 billion opening day for Brahmastra
Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, had a brisk advance booking across the nation. Brahmastra has sold close to 50,000 tickets as of Sunday midday at the three national chains PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, undoubtedly the best for a Hindi movie in a very long time. Since the premiere of War (2019) starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, the movie has had the biggest advance for an outright Hindi release, which is a major accomplishment because a picture like Brahmastra needed to perform well at the box office on opening day.
In India as a whole, over 65,000 tickets have been sold for Brahmastra, and the number is rising steadily by the hour. The success of Brahmastra has given the Hindi cinema industry new optimism, and now it’s up to the content to meet viewer expectations. Brahmastra will undoubtedly start at Rs. 20 crores, and it will be interesting to see how much higher it can rise.
The Salman Khan-starring Dabangg 3 was the last movie to gross Rs. 20 crores on a non-holiday, and it has been almost 3 years since another movie is truly aimed for this amount on a typical day. This would have been considered a subpar number prior to the pandemic, but in light of the significant changes in business dynamics over the past two years, it is now a feat to be celebrated. Sooryavanshi, which raked in Rs. 26 crores during the significant post-Diwali vacation, is the only Rs. 20 crores opening since Dabangg 3.
A journey of many years and now in just 5 days, it will all be yours!#Brahmastra in cinemas from 9th September.

By Wednesday night, Brahmastra will have the most opening night gross for a Hindi film in the previous two years, and Thursday will be all about extending that enormous lead. How far Brahmastra advances on Friday will be determined by the momentum on Thursday. The advancements of Brahmastra are second only to the enormous KGF 2 in the Hindi belts to SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
