The trailer of Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming film Jhund has finally released online. The movie is directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, who is known for his film Sairat.
The story revolves the Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barse’s life journey. In this biopic, Amitabh plays the role of a football coach, adamant about transforming a group of underprivileged, slum children from difficult backgrounds together in the hope of giving them the best chance to transform their life.

However, no one believes Amitabh’s vision, he has been asked to give up on the team. To make things worse for the coach, the group doesn’t take his coaching seriously, get involved in a gang fight, and whatnot. Despite the hurdles, Amitabh is assured that he can train the group and make them members of the National Football Team.
Few Details about Vijay Barse:
Vijay Barse was born in 1945 is a social worker from Nagpur, India. He founded Slum Soccer, an organization that uplifts underprivileged children through football.
Vijay worked as a sports teacher in Hilsop College, Nagpur. In 2001, he founded the Slum Soccer organization after spotting a couple of underprivileged children playing with a makeshift football, inspiring him to start a soccer club. He established the Krida Vikas Sanstha Nagpur (KSVN) with his wife, Ranjana Barse, and son, Abhijeet Barse.
The film Jhund will release on March 4, 2022. Jhund marks Nagraj Popatrao Manjule’s Bollywood debut. He has delivered hit Marathi movies in the past, including Sairat and Fandry. The music of the film was composed by Ajay-Atul.
Jhund is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, Raaj Hiremath, Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, Meenu Aroraa, and Sandeep Singh, under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment, and Aatpat. It’s a Zee Studios worldwide release.
