Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar surprised everyone by tweeting that his periodic action thriller Bell Bottom will hit the cinemas on July 27th.

The Announcement led to excitement among the film industry and movie lovers. Some people also wondered why the film is releasing on Tuesday instead of Friday. There is no festival or Holiday on July 27, yet the makers have gone for the midweek release.
According to the film’s close unit, the reason is simple. We know that 9 is Akshay Kumar’s lucky number. Hence the decision was taken to release bellbottom on July 27 (2+7=9) despite it being a Tuesday. On the other side, we can also guess that the makers are quite confident about their movie.
The last time it happened was nine years ago when ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan‘ and ‘Son of Sardar’ released on Tuesday, but that’s because it was the day of Diwali.
