Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom film shoot Begins
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and team Bell Bottom went to the UK to commence shooting of the film in a chartered plane. Bell Bottom is the first major Bollywood film to be shot abroad during the pandemic.
Today Akshay Kumar shared the film update about commencing the shoot of the movie by holding the clapboard and flagging it off. In an Instagram post, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Lights, Camera, Mask On, and Action. Following all the new norms and filming on for #BellBottom! It’s a difficult time but work has to go on. Need your love and luck.” (sic)

Meanwhile Another actress from the movie, Lara Dutta posted, “And it begins!! I’m claiming one for the girls!As a 42 year old female actor, in this Covid period, it feels AMAZING to be the first to be back on set of a Bollywood film!Thankyou @poojafilms for creating a safe environment for us.(sic)”

While Akshay Kumar accompanied by his wife Twinkle Khanna, and his kids Aarav and Nithara. Other crew members also joined in with their families when the team headed to the UK. The female lead of the movie Vaani Kapoor didn’t join them.
Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Bell Bottom is an espionage thriller directed by Ranjeet M Tiwari and written by Asim Arrora and Parvez Sheikh. The film is all about one of India’s forgotten heroes in the 1980s. The thriller is being produced by Pooja Entertainment and will be released during the summer of 2021.
