Akhanda Review: Only for Balakrishna Die Hard fans!
Akhanda Review: Only for Balakrishna Die Hard fans!
Cast: Nandamuri Balakrishna, Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Avinash, and Poorna.
Director: Boyapati Srinu
Tollywood senior actor Balakrishna is known for the Intense Mass roles. And the combination of Boyapati and Balakrishna is very successful. So obviously there is hype on this movie Akhanda, which was released today (2nd December), let’s look at The Akhanda movie review
Story: O Standard Aside Image Murali Krishna(Balakrishna) is a well-known leader in Anantapur Area. Varadarajulu(Srikanth)a rich goon creates massive problems for the poor. Murali decides to fight Varadarajulu but gets arrested. Varadarajulu also tortures Hero’s Family. Akhanda(Balakrishna as Aghora) enters the scene to save everyone. Will he save everyone? What is the relationship between Murali Krishna and Akhanda? The rest forms the story.
Boyapati Sreenu provides Balayya Babu fans a full Biryani by showcasing Hero in a never-before-seen avatar in a dual role. The director Boyapati knows what would NBK fans expect from him, and delivered them decently.
Balakrishna does a fabulous job, but the character of Akhanda which the NBK fans are going to love the most. Balayya as the Aghora is on another level in the film. Hero’s screen presence, dialogue delivery, and action scenes will be definitely loved by NBK fans. Dialogues are of typical Boyapati style and the way Balayya delivers them powerfully.
Jaiswal gets a decent role Kalakeya Prabhakar is also good as the ruthless cop.
Actor Srikanth is known for soft roles. But Boyapati turns him ferocious in the negative role. He surprises one and all with his screen presence and gives a good competition to Balakrishna.
Music Director S Thaman’s BGM for all the elevation episodes is amazing. Director Boyapati has lived up to the hype created and has given fans what they were missing. He wrote two powerful characters for Balayya and presented him extraordinary. But new is missing the film. The first half is impressive. The film is filled with several fan moments, Jai Balayya is surely a slogan for fans Coming to the story, One could easily expect what would happen next. There is not much story in Akhanda. The first half is quite lengthy. Once Aghora makes an entry, there is no strong opposition to him. Balayya just keeps killing the goons. Although action scenes in the movie make NBK fans happy, seems routine for the Normal audience. Family Emotions seem to be forced in the story. Although the fights are good, they look repetitive after a point here. The love track between Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal is dull. Finally, Akhanda is a celebration for Die Hard fans of Balakrishna. But one cannot expect a new story and the film might seem not digestible for class fans.
