Adipurush update: Meet Sita and Lakshmana from Prabhas’ movie
According to the source close to Adipurush movie, after considering a lot of actresses, the makers have roped Kriti Sanon as Sita in the Prabhas’ movie. It is a very important role in this film as it is based on the Epic ‘Ramayana’.
Another report suggests that Bollywood actor Sunny Singh has been considered to play the role of Lakshman in the film. The official announcement from the Adipurush team will be made soon.
It is already known that star hero Prabhas will be playing the role of Rama and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Ravana). The movie will be directed by om Raut, who is known for his last outing ‘Tanhaji: the unsung warrior’. The film will go on floors in the last week of January 2021.
The film will mostly be shot in a green studio and Om Raut is working with international VFX technicians who have worked on films like Star Wars and Avatar. The film is being made on a big budget.
