“Adipurush” is Available Now On Two OTT Platforms!
The much-anticipated mythological epic, “Adipurush,” starring Prabhas, and Kriti Sanon, and directed by Om Raut, has now made its debut on OTT platforms. After its theatrical release on June 16th, the film garnered massive expectations for its box office performance. However, it fell short of reaching those expectations.
The digital rights for “Adipurush” have been acquired by the OTT giants, Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. While the film is available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on Amazon Prime Video, the Hindi version can be enjoyed on Netflix. Produced on a grand scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, “Adipurush” showcases the immense efforts put into its making. People Media Factory is bringing the movie to the Telugu audience.
The Adipurush unit first received harsh criticism for the poor VFX in the trailer, which caused the excitement for the film to fade out. However, via aggressive promotion, the team gradually built up a positive buzz for the movie. The film has greatly benefited from songs like Jai Shri Ram and Ram Siya Ram in particular in order to overturn the poor reviews it initially received.
The film revolves around the timeless tale of Lord Ram, with Prabhas essaying the role. Kriti Sanon shines as Janaki, while Saif Ali Khan portrays the formidable character of Raavan. The other cast also includes Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Deva Dutta Nage as Lord Hanuman. Additionally, “Adipurush” boasts a remarkable musical score composed by the renowned duo, Ajay-Atul.
